Parking Permits Required
Parking permits are needed on SRJC campuses (Santa Rosa & Petaluma), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Daily permits are available for $4.00 from machines in each lot. The machines take dollar bills, quarters, and credit cards.
For courses longer than two sessions, discount parking permit options are available:
- $10.00 per month Student temporary permit
- $16.00 Weekend semester permit (Fri-Sun)
- $60.00 Student semester permit

District students who intend to park a vehicle on District properties must obtain a valid SRJC parking permit. Student parking permits are available at the Accounting Office in Bailey Hall or the Police Department (after hours only). Permits are available for purchase at the Business Services Office at the Petaluma Campus.
Parking permits are designed to be hung from the rear-view mirror and must be displayed in vehicles by the first day of each semester. Motorcycle permits are to be affixed to the right front fork. There is no grace period.
Permits that are lost, stolen or damaged can be replaced at full price.
Short Term/Visitor Parking
Daily permits, valid for the calendar day they were purchased, may be obtained for $4.00 from permit machines located in all lots. Metered spaces are valid only when time is showing. The fee for parking in a metered space is $1 per hour with a 1-hour maximum. Parking permits are not valid in metered spaces.
If you wish to visit our office for questions or to register, we have limited parking reserved for Community Education students coming into our office. It is located behind our office, in the Bech Hall Lot. 1 hour limit.
Parking & Directions
Having a parking permit doesn't mean you can park anywhere on campus. Certain areas are reserved for staff and other restrictions apply:
White Lines = Student Parking
Yellow Lines = Reserved for Staff or loading zones when marked
Blue Lines = Handicapped Only
Red Lines = No parking area/Tow-away Zone
Parking Meters = Vistor
Parking Areas with no Marking = No parking at any time
