Acrylics: The Next Step and Beyond

This 6-week course is designed for those with basic skills as well as those ready for the next step. A review the first two nights will reintroduce acrylics to those who have worked with this medium in the past but need a refresher, and others who have perhaps recently taken a basic acrylics course. The course is multi-level by its very nature and the instructor will work with everyone in the class individually on a one-on-one basis in break out rooms.

We will review basic concepts of acrylics the first 2 nights: color, mixing, techniques, and basic approach to the medium. The next 4 weeks will address several different painting projects: two basic still-lifes, a landscape, and a building within a landscape.

You will be emailed a handout prior to class to familiarize yourself with the concepts.Supply list is approximately $100 with all new materials, but already owned acrylics and supplies are usable, lessening this expense.
