You've taken a beginning course, so Italian Due (2) reviews the present tense and introduces more frequently-used verbs (including mastering piacere, mancare, interessare); introduces the past tense (il passato prossimo) and direct and indirect object pronouns; and concentrates on adjectives and description patterns (Che bravo vigile!). The course also treats important but little-known Italian songs and singer-songwriters, plus things YOU'D like to know for your longed-for post-Covid adventure in il Bel Paese. Classwork focuses on conversational patterns and in-class practice.
Course fee includes a printed 180-page self-teaching Course Reader, designed for after-course learning as well.
This course will be conducted exclusively online via Zoom. It is important to have access to a computer or smartphone with video and audio capabilities in order to participate.
Please try to enroll by October 8 in order to receive the printed course reader before the first class meeting.
The follow-up course, Italiano Tre, will be offered in early 2023.
