Beginning Korean

This course is the first step for students interested in learning how to read, speak, and write in Korean. Students with no or some Korean experience are welcome to this stress-free online class that includes a wide range of activities and teaching techniques, which will be used to accommodate students at different levels, even those retaking the class. This class covers the basic vocabulary, grammar, and expressions used in Korean restaurants, shops, and in casual settings. The topics include the alphabet, greetings, numbers, telling time, colors, food, and shopping. No textbook is required, and all handouts will be provided electronically. Students must have internet access, a Zoom compatible device, and access to a printer.
