Fitness fads come and go, but Tai Chi Chuan has been practiced for over fifteen hundred years and is practiced by over a quarter billion people worldwide today. Students will discover a time-proven process that improves fitness, strength, flexibility, reduces stress, anxiety and greatly improves overall health and well-being.
Tai Chi's gentle, low-impact movements actually burn more calories than many vigorous exercises. Your instructor, Robert Ito, welcomes students of all ages and fitness levels to join him in the study and practice of Tai Chi Chuan to find balance in the mind, body, and spirit which leads to a healthy flow in your exercise and everyday life. Students recovering from injury or surgery are also welcome.
This course will be held outdoors on SRJC's Santa Rosa campus. Location will be provided upon registration.
