This fun, hands-on class will teach you how to make classic Thai dishes from Bangkok food and will give you a foundation to develop further skill in Thai cuisine. This class reveals medicinal aspects, food safety, cooking techniques, variation of Thai food and its culture and customs as well as exotic ingredients. Chef Phant's class format is unique and designed for fun with an educational sociable atmosphere.
Class begins with presentations and discussion on aspects of Thai food. A chance to answer any questions regarding Thai food (not his love life). Then he will discuss the menu of the day, demonstrating how to prep and handle ingredients. He will explain the ins and outs of Thai cooking techniques. He will show you how to easily meet the cooking goal of each dish regarding the aroma, taste, flavor, and texture. Students will have the chance to taste his food, comment and clarify. Then students will be divided into small groups (maximum of 4) and duplicate each dish with assistance from Chef Phant and his team.
