« back to classes page
Through a lively blend of exciting slide shows, demonstrations and discussions, you will learn practical techniques to create impact in your photography whether traveling to a local market or taking an exciting trip.  Difficult lighting is always a challenge for any photographer, whether it is too sunny, too dark, or just difficult mixed lighting; techniques for these conditions will be covered. We will work with flash and natural lighting. You will learn how to photograph people and interact with strangers, even in a new culture.  Practical ideas on how to take a memorable photograph of that special landscape or cityscape through compositional approaches and ideas will be taught.   Today everyone is a photographer; make your images exciting that stand out and convey your experiences and bring back great memories for yourself and to share. Tips and techniques to be covered are: lighting, composition, exposure, and creativity, plus more.  All levels of experience and gear are welcome. Time permitting; there will be a review of pre-submitted images by students for critiques and the discussion of applying the principals taught in this class for similar photo opportunities in the future. You will have a chance to win some great door prizes.
