Our communities are still recovering from the recent fires and floods. Many people are dealing with chronic stress, anxiety and fatigue. Yet we humans are amazingly flexible and resilient, and given the right “tools,” can bounce back from adversity.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), aka "tapping" is a mind-body method for rapidly relieving emotional distress and trauma, simply by tapping acupoints. Thousands of people are tapping to relieve aches and pains, fears and phobias, traumas and PTSD, release chocolate and sugar cravings, and build greater confidence and self-esteem. In this class you will learn several self-help, self-empowerment tools you can use to help yourself and your family.
My teaching style is experiential as well as informational. An experience is worth a thousand words. I will discuss the epidemic of stress in our daily lives and strategies for enhancing resilience. I will lead several experiential demonstrations such as how to relieve aches and pains, how to defuse simple traumas and post-traumatic stress, and how to get over chocolate (and sugar!) cravings. There will also be time to address specific issues and concerns. All are welcome, and good results are guaranteed.
