« back to classes page
This series will explore an African fabric printing tradition, which uses block prints and paint to create a one of a kind piece that embodies the symbolic meaning of the individual blocks. By overlaying blocks and varying the colors, the piece builds a deep and rich story. This story talks to the artist and can be interpreted by the viewer. An option is to add written words to the edges and creating a border.

Instructor will provide supply list after registration, approximately $15.
