The world’s oceans cover in excess of 70% of the Planet’s surface, yet it could be stated that we know more about outer space than we do about the sea. Cold and nutrient rich, the current that parallels the California coast represents one of the five most biologically diverse marine regions on Earth. The unique life forms and the physical oceanographic features of this system will be our focus.
