« back to classes page
This easy, one-day workshop will show you how to draw or paint quickly as you travel. Rather than point and click your camera, take a few extra minutes to make some fine sketches and color them with a little watercolor. You will see more, learn more, and come back with priceless memories. You will learn: how to sketch people, architecture, water, trees, and landscape; to simplify your subjects and capture essence; how to pack and what materials to bring; to be comfortable and relaxed drawing or painting; how to sketch or paint in restaurants and on the street; and how to draw or paint outdoors in the rain and sun. You will practice these techniques for drawing and painting in class. Make your next travel experience satisfying and unforgettable! The materials fee includes: The Pocket Drawing Pad, pens, pencils and the Pocket Drawing Book. Please bring your own watercolors, palette, brush, water container, rag and lunch. Optional watercolor kit will be available at class for $20.
