ID : 7186
« back to classes page
Colored pencils are a fun, safe and portable way to express oneself artistically. We will focus on basics of color theory and color application while drawing summer flowers like the sunflower. Learn to mix and blend colors and use pencils to create tone and hue. We will cover a variety of techniques including blending, burnishing, and impressed line. We will work from a variety of natural objects. I will provide handouts on color theory and ways to draw the flowers. Each student will work on the drawing level that is comfortable for them as emphasis will be on color theory, color choices and pencil technique. I will provide individual attention to each student as they work on their drawings.
All levels welcome. Supply list mailed 2 weeks before the class (or emailed to online registrants when an email address is provided). Please call  (707) 527-4372 if not received.
