Historical Walking Tours: Santa Rosa

Mark Parry AIA,CSI,SAH is architect and architectural historian. He will again lead five walking tours through historical downtown Santa Rosa and its environs. This course is for those interested in architecture, history, and the development of our community. We will discuss styles of architecture and the societal and political influences that have shaped our city. We will review the past and look to the future as we discuss changes planed for downtown and Railroad Square and the process necessary to implement change in the city.
 
Take a thought provoking stroll through the heart of Santa Rosa including: Court House Square/Cherry Street district; Railroad Square/B Street district; Burbank Gardens/Julliard Park; Ridgway and SRJC district; McDonald Avenue. Wear comfortable shoes! Enrollment is limited, so register early as the class generally fills up early.
